Runners necessity! 
I have a hard time finding shoes that fit: I have NO arch and my foot is a little bit wide, but not so much that I need a special width shoe. I have been buying different versions of this shoe for about 3 years... they are my go to brand and style (although it is "updated" every year. I run about 3 miles twice a week and also train in the gym with them: an overall good shoe.
Great Shoes for Narrow Feet! 
These are the first pair of ASICS I have ever owned. I was browsing online for a pair of narrow running shoes and came across these at a great price, so I thought I'd give them a try. I didn't know that ASICS carried narrows. Narrow shoes are hard to find, especially at a good price.
I wear an 8N but ordered an 8.5N, since that is what I usually have to do with other brands of running shoes. It says these shoes are helpful for flat feet, and I am also slightly flat footed. I'm so glad I ordered these shoes. They are a perfect fit and are so comfortable. I love the colors, too. They are definitely my favorite pair of running shoes ever. I plan to purchase more ASICS in the future.

Excellent for over pronators!
I have a really low arch and have purchased many running shoes, never under $120. I had the "you get what you pay for" mindset. The "arch" of my foot would ache even if Iw as doing something simple, like jumping jacks! I decided to give these shoes a go after a friend had recommended them to me and absolutely love them. I broke them in doing a vertical incline of more than 2,000 feet, and running down a 4 mile trail (I am currently looking into buying an Asics trail shoe)! No arch aches AT ALL and no blisters, either! Asics will be the only sneakers I will be buying for a very long time!
ASICS Gel Foundation 8
These shoes feel good right out of the box. I have had plantar fasciitis on and off for years, so shoes are important. I am just coming off a flare up in one foot, and these shoes are comfortable and and supportive; my healing is continuing.
I am presently wearing athletic shoes all the time, as I finish resolving plantar fasciitis. I am also very pleased with the appearance of this shoe. While clearly an athletic shoe, it is attractive and feels alright in my office setting.
One note, and not part of my star rating for this item . . . this is the first time that I have been charged sales tax on a purchase. I don't know if it is because this vendor does business in my state, or if there has been some change in practice. It does alter cost comparison between this and other sites, so you may wish to be aware of it if you are someone who shops multiple sites before purchasing. With regard to the vendor, the shoes arrived promptly and are in new condition, no problems at all. The sales tax was just a bit of a surprise.
